A Winner and an Announcement

First of all, congrats to Lana at The Jeremy Cook Family for winning the prize for last week's 3 for TH. She won when I picked the third number in my street address, #2. Congrats Lana! I will get your threesome prize sent out sometime this week.

Second of all, I am going to go on a bit of a blogging hiatus. I really don't know how long. I am deactivating my Facebook account too. No drama. No hard feelings. I just feel the need to unplug for a bit. I hear it can be very liberating!

Who knows how long this will last? I'll probably deactivate FB and post this post and then have a million incredible ideas for blog posts and ways to manage my time for effectively. Ha!

If you need to reach me, you can email me at hangingsilver{at}gmail{dot}com.

And if you're having tons of fun with the 3 for TH posts, my dear friend Katy is going to take over for me for a bit. You can find her at The House of Estrogen. Don't worry. You are in capable and clever hands.

Thank you to all of you who read and follow and comment here at Hanging by a Silver Lining! I'll see you on the flip side. Promise. :)

P.S. I'll most likely still be checking in a couple times a week over at The Jolly Green Giant. Part of the reason I need to simplify here.

  1. well, I can't say that I'm happy about this; I'm one of your silent blogging stalkers. (you know, the kind that reads all your posts, but rarely comments? maybe I should change that.) But I understand the reasoning. Our family recently underwent a tv/wii "fast" for a month, and it was VERY liberating. (Hello, outdoors!) So, best of luck on your hiatus, I'm sure it will do you and your family good. I'll be waiting with baited breath for your return!

  2. Honestly, when I go on a little hiatus, I always enjoy the time unplugging so much. I {almost} don't want to come back. Go for it. Manage your time. enjoy your kids. Just know we will be seriously stalking this here blog until you get back. You know, to make it look like someone is home so no robbers will break in or anything, right?

  8. I didn't realize how much I this was affecting me until I had a dream last night that I was at your house visiting you! I will miss you while you are on hiatus, but I hope it refreshes you. Everyone needs some refreshment time. (That made me want some watermelon. I don't know why!) See you when you come back?

  9. I will miss you and all your cleverness Evelyn, but I think I could use with an unplugging myself. I hope it helps you simplify, put things in perspective and all those other good things you're hoping for! Love You!
