I don't know... Boy! Am I in need of a happy list today. Something sweet and simple. Something to put the wind beneath my wings on a no-energy day like this
Evelyn's Happy List on a No-Energy Thursday:
*Newsies showed up in my mail box last night. Thank you Netflix!
*Jeigh is totally on board with my brilliant Get-a-Penny-Every-Time-I-Catch-You-NOT-Sucking-Your-Thumb idea.
*I got the dishes done yesterday. That means I can skip today, right?
*Hearing that an ultra-cool package is in the works for me from my ultra-cool swap partner, Sami! Can't wait!!
*SYTYCD was on last night! And it's on again tonight! Just can't get enough.
*I woke at 4 am to a gentle hug and kiss goodbye from my hard workin' hunka' hunka' burnin' love. What a good guy!
*PAYDAY!
*The upcoming Fourth of July holiday! The fireworks! The food! The family!
*My kids could happily eat apples all day.
*I don't have a car; therefore I don't have to feel guilty about not getting the grocery shopping done. Ha!
*Watching my little son playing intently with his plethora of cars. What is going through his mind as he parks and pushes them around??
*Laughing about my mom answering her phone while she is at Girls' Camp and chatting with me for awhile before reminding me that was where she was. Coverage all the way out there? I just think that is hilarious!
*Plans to go see Toy Story 3 on Monday with the family. Anyone seen it yet?
How's that for trying to find the silver lining today, eh? Oh and thanks to Mamarazzi for the happy list inspiration!
OH! Aaaaannd! Speaking of Mamarazzi...go check out her game giveaway! I figure if I keep entering, I'm bound to win someday...
So, what is wrinkling your face with smiles today?
You will LOVE Toy Story 3...great for moms and kids alike!
ReplyDeleteYay for a happy list!!
ReplyDeleteAww!! So glad you made a happy list!
ReplyDeleteToday at the top of my happy list is free swimming at Downata - something I formerly dreaded, but ended up enjoying and now am looking forward to! :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I have days, weeks, months like what you're describing, I chalk it up to my "groove" being thrown off (you know...the Emperor's New Grove movie) by whatever or whoever. Then I always rejoice when I'm able to restore my groove, even if it is a little less spunky than before!!
Hope you get your groove back soon!
I get like that sometimes too! In fact, I'm feeling kinda like that today, so I am opting not to worry about blogging, and working on your package instead...
ReplyDeleteI love Mamarazzi's happy list meme! It really helps bring me out of whatever funk I'm in.
P.S. As long as the stars all align perfectly, we're taking out kids to see Toy Story 3 on Saturday. I think I may be more excited than they are!
ReplyDeleteLove a good happy list! And some of them are just tiny things - that's perfect. Often we don't appreciate those small things enough.
ReplyDeleteToday I am happy for the book I'm reading and for my husband who is such a good guy, for getting to spend time with my kids, and for bloggy friends!
It's a beautiful happy list! My brother has seen Toy Story twice and he says it is probably Pixar's best yet! Have fun and keep enjoying what sounds like a great mommy day!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I love Sami & I am SURE you are going to get an Ahhhh-MAZING package! I am overdoing it I think... I grew out of the largest flat rate box. Kinda scared to find out how much this thing is gonna cost me to ship - yikes! SYTYCD, oh I am totally addicted too!!! Still not for sure if I like the new format though???
ReplyDeleteLove your list! I especially like the lack of grocery shopping guilt;)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, you will LOVE toy story three. Every single person in our big happy family loved it! I am a big SYTYCD fan myself and loved last nights dancing! Love your happy list. It is great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great and fun happy list! I enjoyed reading this post:-)
ReplyDeleteLove the happy list! I'd love to skip the dishes today too. :P We're going to TS3 for Noah's b'day next week - they can't wait!
ReplyDeleteGREAT Happy List...we saw TS3 twice and loved it, both times!
ReplyDeletesuper excited about the red, White and Blue goodness!!!
