I catch myself getting a little choked up every time I hear this song.
It's because I like to think about my daughters when I hear it.
And how I hope they will grow up knowing they are important and precious and beautiful and worthy and good and perfect just the way they are.
Because it's true.
P.S. My hat is off to Bruno Mars for writing a song that doesn't talk about how "hawt" a girl is because of her body, booty-shakin', or bedroom habits. Cheers Bruno Mars!

Love, love, LOVE this song. Catchy tune, and lyrics that speak to my soul. I always pick up Miss Marvel and start dancing with her and singing it to her when it comes on. I'm seriously thinking about making it my ring tone. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
So cool, what a great post, sista.
This is a great song and I agree with you on the P.S.
I would wish that each little girl could grow up feeling that way! Great song.
You know what song I loooovvveee... Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle. Have you ever heard that song? You have to google & listen to it if you haven't. I danced with my Daddy to this song at my wedding. LOVE IT!
