Three for Thursday: Selfish Mommy

Blogging seems to be my little indulgent thing I've been doing for myself this week. So why not take it another step and really get self-centered? It's all about me today! At least for the next fifteen minutes. Then someone has to feed those dang kids, do that pile of laundry, and solve the other 13 million problems around here. *sigh*

Three things I accomplished over the summer:
1. Ran my first half marathon
2. Did fairly well at consistently doing "Adventure Days" with my kids
3. Learned how to make homemade tamales

Three things I would do if I had three hours all to myself:
1. Wander around wondering what on earth to do with myself for three hours
2. Treat myself to some fresh sushi, a pedicure, and a real movie at a real movie theater.
3. Hike

Three things I want for Christmas:
1. Lego Lord of the Rings for the Wii
2. A food processor
3. A box of See's chocolates

Three things I would like to learn how to do in the next year:
1. Shop confidently in an Asian grocery store
2. Pressure cooking and canning
3. Bake delicious gluten-free bread and other baked goods from scratch

Three guilty pleasures:
1. The belly dancing part of Zumba
2. Thrift store shopping (especially for jars)
3. Shaytard YouTube videos

Three pictures: (Gotta squeeze the kids in here somewhere!)
Breakfast. The Most Important Meal of the Day. *Bodyguards included.

Giiiiirrrl! You work those leg warmers!

"I love to see the temple! I'm going there someday!"

Three for Thursday: Having Kids is Like being Pecked to Death by Ducks

It's been another long week. Any week that Joe is gone and I'm single-momming it is long. My patience has been shorter than the fingernails my son nibbles on incessantly. I'm afraid Fun Mommy was killed, stuffed, and mounted on the wall by Angry Mommy. Therefore...my Three for Thursday is not the most fuzzy, warm, positive post. In fact, it's more of a mommy rant. Ahh. Such is life.

Three things I used to like before I had kids:
1. animals
2. long drives
3. swimming

Three things I like now that I have kids:
1. Halloween
2. short haircuts
3. bedtime

Three things I gave up when I gave birth:
1. the ability to be on time
2. Crockpot Cream Cheese Chicken (gag)
3. TV

Three things I can't get under control no matter how much I try:
1. the neatness of my craft area
2. my girls' drawers (It never fails. Dirty clothes in the dresser. Clean clothes on the floor. EVERY SINGLE BLOODY DAY!)
3. my insomnia

Three things I don't understand:
1. things that end in -ics: politics, economics, statistics, quantum physics, psychics, bulimics, lunatics
2. Firefly (what's the big deal?)
3. my third child

Three pictures:
I was about ready to auction this kid off the to the highest bidder. And now look at her...Geez. I love being a mom.

Did I ever mention that we had our first Tamalada (tamale making party)? And that it was muy fantastico! Not to mention muy delicioso!

My parents have new neighbors. And their little boy (can you spot him?) likes to come hang out with all the kids when we gather at my parents' house. Somehow he's ended up in almost every picture of the kids that we take during holidays and special occasions. May the red headed step child jokes ensue.

P.S. Remember my Super Mario Party Pack Giveaway! It ends Monday at midnight!

Three for Thursday: Birthday Edition

Three things I need to let off some steam about:
1. I'M SO TIRED OF CLEANING UP BODILY FLUID MESSES THAT AREN'T MINE!
2. THE WORST PART ABOUT A KNOW-IT-ALL IS THAT THEY DON'T KNOW IT ALL! OBVIOUSLY THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TRULY OBNOXIOUS THEY ARE TO THEIR FELLOW EARTHLY INHABITANTS!
3. I'M ALL FOR BREASTFEEDING, AND DOING SO IN PUBLIC, BUT--FOR THE LOVE!-- DO WE NEED TO BE SO WEIRD ABOUT IT?! BOOBIE HATS? NURSE-INS? I THINK IT'S ALL RATHER RIDICULOUS.

Ahhh...Now that I feel a tad better...

Three things I did instead of the Yoga workout I was supposed to do today:
1. Took my girls, along with two other little Kindergarten friends, to the park for Happy Meals and play time.
2. Read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
3. Ran on the treadmill. Believe it or not, that actually seemed more appealing than 90 minutes of contorting my body in erratic ways.

Three favorite birthday happenings:
1. Feeling all the Facebook love.
2. Having my sister show up to decorate my house, feed my kids, do my dishes, bring me cheesecake, give me the coolest plate I was eyeing in an antiques place weeks ago, and generally just keep me company on my special day when my husband was out of town. Sisters are the best!
3. Attending a temple session.

Three things I accomplished in my 30th year:
1. Overcame my fear of cooking raw shrimp.
2. Lost 80 pounds.
3. Single-parented four children for long amounts of time without flushing any of them down the toilet.

Three things I plan to do in my 31st year:
1. Complete a half marathon.
2. Become debt-free.
3. Travel somewhere I've never been. Where? I don't know yet.

Three pictures:
Homework is so hard! I need a break.

What is it with boys and shaving their heads?! It's not my favorite look for my guys, but it sure makes them happy.

Everyone's got one of these shots in their baby book, right?

4.12.2012

Three for Thursday

Three things I think people don't understand about me:
1. I'm not a drama queen. I'm just a little sensitive.
2. I really REALLY REALLY hate talking on the phone. For reals.
3. I like being alone sometimes.

Three things I did yesterday:
1. Bought my first pair of real running shoes!
2. A really good pirate impression.
3. Cleaned my local thrift store out of pint canning jars.

Three things I (not so) secretly enjoy:
1. Drinking diet soda every now and then.
2. Wearing spandex.
3. Playing Lego Harry Potter on the Wii. By myself.

Three things I plan to conquer eventually:
1. My food addiction.
2. Debt.
3. My fear of food storage and emergency preparedness.

Three songs I'm lovin' lately:
1. "Tonight" by FUN
2. "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye
3. "Safe and Sound" by Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars

Three pictures:
This poor girl inherited her mom's sense of balance. She was jumping from cement park bench to cement park bench and missed. At least with her feet. This is Day 3.
Isn't she a beaut?! And I don't have small hands!

Trouble. She can find it. And very quickly.

Three for Thursday: It is Thursday, isn't?

Last week, I patted myself on the back as I zipped off a Three for Thursday post just in the nick of time.

Only to have a dear friend gently break the news to me.

It was Wednesday.

Swell.

Here is another Three for Thursday. And it is Thursday today, right? Right??

Three Facebook status updates from this week:
1. Pinterest. Just another media source that makes me feel like a pathetic mom.
2.‎ 75% of my children are in bed. 50% are crying. And I am 99.9% done. You do the math.
3. Elle is getting ready for dance class and putting on her "lady terd". Or leotard for all you non 3 year olds.

Three favorite holiday candies:
1. Candy corn at Halloween.
2. Hot lips (think cinnamon bears) at Valentine's. (This is a new favorite temptation.)
3. Chocolate any time of the year. We don't need no stinkin' holiday.

Three BIG plans for the future:
1. Traveling to the Yucatan Peninsula with my husband for our 10th wedding anniversary in 2013.
2. Running a marathon. I don't know when, but it's gonna happen before I die.
3. Harry Potter Land. I have to go. I just hafta.

Three things I say to my children that I ought to mind myself:
1. "You're whining. Go to bed."
2. "You've had enough candy. No more."
3. "That wasn't a very kind thing to say. Don't say it again."

Three things I want to buy with the Amazon gift certificates I got for Christmas (Which one? Which one?):
1. Books. Loads and piles and mountains of delicious books.
2. Willow Tree Nativity.
3. Zumba Exhilarate exercise program.

Three pictures:
Elle and her "lady terd". And boots. On the wrong feet.

A little preview of the birthday girl. Very truant dedicatory post to come.

Ahh. Boys. Of the 7 year old variety.

1.18.2012

Three for Thursday: I'm on a Roll!

Hey! Lookie here! I'm on a blogging roll. Can't quit now. But I'm beat. After being up for two hours in the middle of the night with various children I barely made it through a sloppy treadmill workout (but I did! Go me!) and the rest of my day was spent wandering around the house wishing I had the energy to do something more than just wander. An easy, no-pressure, not-very-clever-but-definitely-informative Three for Thursday it is!

Three things that turn my frown upside down:

2. Exercise. Who knew?!
3. Some good loud music.

Three books I'm reading right now:
1. The Book of Mormon (New Years Resolution going strong!)
2. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (I'm starting all over again, relishing every moment.)
3. The Magic Tree House Series (Thanks everybody for the tip on that one! All the kids are eating them up!)

Three things I can pat myself on the back for:
1. Losing 63 pounds since May 2011.
2. I got all of my children to eat at least half of their squash tonight! I'll keep trying. One of these days I'm going to wear them down and they will love it just as much as I do.
3. Dee's Mario birthday party. It was SUPER!

Three things that worry me:
1. Baby Cee still won't put weight on her left leg after taking her first tumble down the stairs last Friday.
2. I'm a terrible friend.
3. Finances.

Three things I'm looking forward to in the year 2012:
1. Summer family camp out.
2. Finally reaching my dream weight goal.
3. Running in my first half marathon (September 2012!)

Three pictures:
Satan--I mean Santa made a visit at our house. She was not impressed.

This girl knows how to power up in the morning.

The Christmas ornaments I made for the family for 2011. I'm sorta kinda really proud of them. Can you guess whose is whose? And why?

Happy Thursday!!

12.01.2011

Three for Thursday: Is it Thursday Already?!

Three things I do on December 1st (traditionally or just for today):
1. Wonder if being a good mom means doing something traditional on December 1st.
2. Think about getting the decorations out before half of the month disappears. I didn't say "Do it". I said "Think about doing it".
3. Eat something edible. Pretty sure this is a tradition for me.

Three “blessings” I’m grateful I do NOT have:
1. Twins.
2. A mansion. Then I would have to clean even more bathrooms.
3. A second income. Don't get me wrong! I like money as much as the next person, but this stay at home mom thing is pretty awesome.

Three things I spend waaay too much time doing:
1. Facebook.
2. Interior decorating. It takes me F O R E V E R to figure out how I want to decorate something and then even longer to make it happen. My perfectionist nature kicks me in the fanny every single time.
3. Obsessing over the past. It's not like I change any of it now. Best to just get over it and move on.

Three things that Reese Witherspoon and I have in common:
1. Our sons have the same name.
2. Big feet. (Monsters vs Aliens)
3. Like chihuahuas Date Jake Gyllenhal Water elephants Play guitar Enjoy Johnny Cash music!

Three fads I find absolutely 100% ridiculous:
1. Full blown Mohawks on little boys. And big boys. Oh and girls of any age as well.
2. Skulls. What's the fascination with skulls and crossbones?! Bones and dead people are not cute. Ever.
3. Twitter.

Three pictures:
"Cute" was never so loud.

Baby Cee with Grandpa Pee P. (Sorry about my potty humor. The poet in me just couldn't resist.)

Joe fried the turkey again this year. Obviously his brother doesn't have a lot of faith in his frying abilities.

Check out what some of my fellow bloggers are doing on their Thursday day:

Heather Johnson at The Parenting Patch needs a little fresh air away from all those books.

Mommy2Twincesses is singing show tunes with the flair of Carol Burnett.

Three for Thursday: Back from the Dead

Turkey Tail Feather / Don Van Dyke
It's Thursday again! Maybe that is nothing remarkable to you, but Wednesday morning around 4 am as I was leaning against the wall in my bathroom praying my children wouldn't find me unconscious or dead I was beginning to wonder if I would ever see another Thursday again.

Sparing you most of the gory details, let's just say Panda Express and I are through. For life. And not to slander Panda Express because it wasn't food poisoning that affected me so, but it just happened to be my last meal before...well, you get the idea. And now I can hardly type the words Panda Express without dying a little inside.

Moving on!

Three things that I am grateful for from the year 2011:
1. Neighbors. I know, I know. I'm getting a little obnoxious with the I-love-my-neighbors thing, but they came to my rescue again yesterday when I called upon them for a priesthood blessing and help with my children. I am so grateful for good people!
2. Baby Cee. She was born right at the beginning of 2011. How I love this gorgeous, sweet baby of mine.
3. Getting laid off from my job. A few months ago I couldn't have said this, but I have finally been able to see what a blessing me not working has been for my family and home. Suddenly I have more time in my day. My house is cleaner, my children are happier, and I am more satisfied with how I am fulfilling my duties as "mama".

Three things “I’d rather not”:
1. I'd rather not give the kitchen table and chairs the deep down exfoliating scrub they so desperately need but that will require ninja skills and an exorcism to complete.
2. I'd rather not plan the Thanksgiving menu right now. My stomach just isn't up to it. Yet.
3. I'd rather not talk on the phone. Like ever. I really hate phone conversations. I freeze up. I can't hear. I would really just rather not ever use it for talking into.

Three Thanksgiving plans, traditions, or memories:
1. Plan: Cook my first gluten free Thanksgiving feast. Wish me luck!
2. Memory: A bird pooping on my head while I was hanging off the side of a moving suburban.
3. Tradition: Eat. Lots.

Three sneaky things I do:
1. Add spinach to the morning smoothie.
2. Watch the garbage man between the window blinds to see if he's irritated about my overly full garbage can.
3. Eat chocolate covered pretzels in the kitchen as quietly as I can while my children watch TV in the next room.

Three things that I missed the boat on:
1. Pop culture. Friends, Frasier, Lost, Harry Potter, Twilight, The Wonder Years, The Office. If it's popular I probably didn't read it or see it until it was all published or airing the final season.
2. Sushi. I didn't get brave enough to try it until a couple of years ago. Oh the years wasted!
3. Natural childbirth.

Three pictures:
Why wouldn't it surprise me to see Lady Gaga in this outfit?

Four of my greatest blessings

Thanksgiving 2009 in Arizona. Too small and too quiet. How grateful I am that we are close to family again.

Three for Thursday: Waxing Nostalgic

I just can't help it.

There's something about the end of the year and the holidays that gets me in a bit of a nostalgic mood. But a little jaunt down memory lane never hurt anyone, right? Why not? Let's take the memories into another Three for Thursday.

Three long lost hobbies:
With the arrival of each new baby I've had to bid adieu to more and more of my favorite past times. Some days an empty nest looks so appealing, doesn't it?
1. Scrapbooking. Which is rather ironic since my children have given me loads to scrap about. It's just finding the time to do it. What a paradox!
2. Card making. Now you're lucky if you get a scrap of paper with your name scribbled on it.
3. Reading. At least adult fiction. No! Not that kind of fiction, ya' pervs!

Three jobs/careers I have had:
1. Counselor at a summer Boy Scout camp. Oh the things you will learn when surrounded by 12 year old boys.
2. Emergency Department Technician. Best job ever! The blood. The guts. The drunks. The twelve hour night shifts. The crazies. The coworkers. Loved just about every minute of it!
3. Freelance writer. You mean you can make money doing something you love?!

Three childhood dreams that came true:
1. Marry Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome. Check.
2. Be in a musical. Check.
3. Drive a mini-van full of kids. Check. And check.

Three childhood dreams that didn’t come true:
1. Be the first female president of the United States of America. Hey! I guess there's still a chance.
2. Hone the ability to magically draw animals to me with the sound of my luscious vocal chords. What's Snow White got that I don't have?
3. I can fly. With nothing but pure mental exertion.

Three toys I asked for Christmas when I was a kid:
1. Books. Yes, I was that kind of kid.
2. Riverdance on VHS. Cue aging jokes now.
3. I never asked for much. I'm too indecisive and I always hoped my parents would just know what I wanted even if I didn't. So I always got clothes. Even still, I really...really...really hate getting clothes for Christmas.

Three pictures:
Since this is "Memory Lane" 3 for TH I'm using three old pictures. Ahhh...The good ol' days!

Told ya' he was dark and handsome. You'll just have to take my word on the tall part.

Halloween 2006. Dee and Jeigh as Nacho and Sister Encarnacion. My first attempt at homemade costumes and not to toot my own horn but also my favorite costumes to date.

Squishy, squishy.

Three for Thursday: Just Doing My Thang

It's Thursday and time for another Three for Thursday! Not much going on here. I'm just a mom doing her thang. And yes I spelled it "thang". Hope your Thursday is similarly...normal.

Three things I stole borrowed from my kids’ Halloween candy stash:
1. Butterfingers
2. Kit Kats
3. York Peppermint Patties

Three things I buy that have to be name brand:
1. Crayola crayons. Nothing beats the classic brand.
2. Cheese. Tillamook Cheese. Blocked, not stringed.
3. Trident gum.

Three things I spend more than fifteen minutes doing every day:
1. Debating whether to get out of bed now...Or not yet...
2. Dee's first grade homework! *groan!* head--->desk
3. Waiting in the school parking lot as my very social little kindergartner wishes the entire morning kindergarten class and their parents and siblings and their dentist's sister's uncle's first cousin twice removed a very fond farewell. Sure wish I could convince that child she will see everybody again tomorrow.

Three things that put me in a fantastic mood:
1. Loud music!
2. Running!
3. Rain and snow storms!

Three things I do that a grown woman has no right to be doing anymore:
1. Running up the dark stairs as fast as I can so the Boogeyman doesn't get me.
2. Using words like "thang".
3. Spilling everything I eat on myself.

Three pictures:
I call this picture..."Obsession".

I ask you, Does it get any cuter than this? I submit, it does not.

Our pineapple from Bountiful Baskets. "Bountiful" isn't exactly the word that came to my mind.
P.S. Today I am grateful for all those bloggers out there who play along with my silly little meme. Make sure to leave your link below so I can come visit. Cheers!

Three for Thursday: By Golly!

My apologies but I just can't seem to get myself back into blogging mode. Between busy Mommy schedules and just plain unadulterated apathy towards anything "extra" nary a post has made its way to the beautiful blue skies of my blog page. Even fun, friendly, and frankly pretty darn easy meme Three for Thursday has suffered.

But not today, folks! By golly if I accomplish one thing today it will be this: a real Three for Thursday blog post.

*deep breath*

Three objects to my left:

1. Elle's pillow pet that came unstitched Christmas morning 2010. I've been intending to restitch it ever since. Maybe today I'll shoot to accomplish two things I've been putting off for far too long...
2. A clean and organized office space that I have been meaning to tackle for...hmm...about 8 months now. Sheesh.
3. Procrastination. It used to be on my right, but I moved to the left hoping I could get to it later. *har har har*

Three songs I can’t get out of my head:
1. Love You Like a Love Song by Selena Gomez and The Scene (It's just so darn catchy and it doesn't help that my girls walk around singing it nonstop.)
2. Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5
3. With a Little Help from my Friends by The Beatles (We've been watching The Wonder Years on Netflix lately.)

Three favorite Halloween movies (or songs):
Let me make one thing clear...I hate Halloween. It totally freaks me out and in my opinion is just an excuse for most people to get crazy weird or crazy slutty. I have never really enjoyed it until I had kids and was able to celebrate Halloween with cute "scary" stuff. Therefore my answers for this one are pretty low key when it comes to scare factor. Whatever. At least I can sleep at night.
1. Hocus Pocus
2. Any of the Harry Potter movies
3. Dead Man's Party by Oingo Boingo

Three things I’ve learned to just let go of:
1. The $200 our very first landlord "forgot" to refund of our deposit.
2. The 50 pounds I lost this summer.
3. Youth. (Weeelll...I'm still hanging on to this one with a few white knuckles.)

Three reasons I could wear the Super Woman costume on Halloween:
1. I got the office area organized...Finally.
2. I can raise four kids on my own...That is, in week long increments of course.
3. Blue makes my eyes "pop".

Three pictures:

Me and Sami, my favorite ax murderer in Texas. More blog posts to come...

I can't help but think of Max from Where the Wild Things Are.

And for my final trick...I am cheating. Instead of a third picture here's a little video clip I snuck of my three year old Elle. After an endoscopy and biopsy we have discovered she has Celiac Disease. This is her on the drive home from the hospital procedure. The anesthesia is still wearing off, yet she just can't resist singing one of her favorite songs. Sad, but oh so cute. (It takes a while before she starts singing. She was singing before I pulled out the camera, but you know what happens once you pull the dang thing out.)

9.22.2011

Three for Thursday

Three things I'm up to these days:
1. I finally started P90X. It's not so bad so far. Really.
2. Researching Celiac Disease and Gluten Free diets online.
3. I'm up to my eyeballs in dirty laundry and dishes. *groan*

Three movies I've watched lately:
1. My Name is Khan (I give it 4 out of 5 stars)
2. Lost in Austen (4 out of 5)
3. Red Riding Hood (1.5 out of 5)

Three of my favorite spices:
1. basil
2. cinnamon
3. nutmeg

Three things I'm counting down "sleeps" for:
1. My October trip to Texas to "meet" my friend Sami.
2. Thanksgiving. It's at my house this year!
3. My husband being safely back home.

Three things that get my blood boiling:
1. People who can't seem to find happiness in anything. Ever.
2. Pregnant smokers.
3. Short notice.

Three pictures:

More poisoned apples?

A good daddy is...
I drool every time I look at this picture.

Three for Thursday: Thursday? Is that what that was?

Today's Three for Thursday is brought to you by the three blessed minutes I finally found to sit down and write. What a hairy crazy day. Much grocery shopping, laundry washing, kid losing, taxi driving, phone talking, homework supervising, bill paying, and various other -ings were done attempted to be done today.

A frustrating, but full day.

Three funny things I saw or heard today:

1. A woman in a convertible following me around the grocery store parking lot beeping her car horn at my two girls who were sitting in the toy car front of the grocery cart beeping back at her. The first time it was funny and cute. The second and third time...it was just kind of creepy.

2. The Smith's clerk stopping me to tell me how beautiful my children were and that she fully believed that Utah made the best looking babies. I didn't have the heart to tell her we're from Idaho.

3. The Costco clerk asking if Elle's dad was the milkman. Yep. He's from Idaho too.

Three things on my Christmas wish list:

1. A gym membership. Why don't you throw in a personal trainer while you're at it, Santa?

2. An Amazon gift card for a million dollars. That's not greedy. Not one little bit.

3. The gift of Time. Oh and world peace.

Three things that I love about my neighborhood:

1. My wonderful neighbors! I love when they drop by just to see how we're doing. I love the power fists jammed in the air as I jog by each night. I love the free delicious tomatoes growing through my fence. By far the best neighbors we have ever had.

2. The proximity of stuff. The school, the dance studio, the church, the Costco...

3. The great hills that "enrich" my running routine. I really really love them. So so much. :P

Three things that make me happy and sad all at the same time:

1. Chocolate. A moment on the lips. A lifetime on the hips.

2. Watching my babies grow up.

3. Weight loss. "Wow! It's amazing that I can do this! Wow. Why did I wait until I was 30 to realize this?! I've wasted so much time."

Three movies I like that have Elephants in them:

1. Jungle Book the cartoon

2. Jungle Book the not cartoon

3. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

Three pictures:

Mommy and Jeigh disagreed about what does and does not make a "cute" school outfit. Guess who won this morning?

Race Day with my sister. I did the 10K, she did the Half Marathon. So happy we could share the experience! Next year we're running the Half together.

This child will be responsible for 99% of my gray hair.

Three for Thursday: Staving Off the Nerves

My first 10K race is only two sleeps away (That’s how we track time in our house. Doesn’t everyone?) and I can’t help but be more than a little nervous. I know I can do it. I know I will do it. And I know how awesome I will feel after accomplishing that goal. It’s just the getting there part that is so darn nerve wracking. Wish me luck as I try to knock another physical fitness goal off my list and join me in another Three for Thursday as I try to distract myself from the gut wrenching nerves.

By the way, I'm simplifying things with 3 for TH a bit.
"Tis a gift to be simple! Tis a gift to be free!"

I cut the prompts down to five plus three pictures.
No prizes but the prize of having fun.
Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but my tight schedule, husband, and bank account send their gratitude.

Three accomplishments that I have under my belt:

1. I ran my first and only 5K back in September 2009. It was just a measly 3 miles, but it made me feel like a super hero.

2. As of today, 50 pounds lost over the last almost 4 months!

3. Successfully keeping four beautiful children alive…so far.

Three things that my grandma and I have in common:

1. Names that start with E.

2. Bad hearing. I already know hearing aids are in my future.

3. A love of swimming, travel, and adventure.

Three plans for Labor Day:

1. Run my first 10K race.

2. Bathe in chocolate and Dr. Pepper afterwards. (Maybe…I don’t really want to screw up that 50 pound mark.)

3. Celebrate the birthday of my little brother who was coincidentally born on Labor Day. Labor and delivery on Labor Day. How ironic.

Three ridiculous things I have spent money on:

1. Cowboy hats that Joe and I wore one time.

2. Food. I HATE when you spend money on food and it just doesn’t taste all that fantastic. That puts me in such a foul mood.

3. Dumb boys in high school.

Three things that only time will fix:

1. My hair. When will I ever learn that cutting it short is not a good idea?! UGH!

2. The hazard zone my office is. I feel certain that if I simply wait long enough, it WILL clean it self up, right?

3. My biological clock tick tick ticking away in spite of being “done”. I hear the day that last baby is potty trained is a glorious day of freedom. I’m waiting to see.

Three pictures:

Good grief! She looks so grown up, doesn't she?

We saw this guy ahead of us and could not stop giggling.

Did I mention I FINALLY got my picture frames up? Umm...I never said anything about getting pictures in those picture frames...
